A reset that travels with you.
I started looking at the wallpaper space on my mobile differently.
I was already seeing it throughout the day. Why not use that space for something that might help me in the moments when I needed it?
At home, I can place a Micro-Reset Card somewhere I’m likely to need it. But life doesn’t always happen where I’ve placed a card.
Sometimes something unexpected happens at work. Sometimes I’m out. Sometimes I’m busy, overwhelmed or reactive and I reach for my mobile without thinking.
And there it is. A few words that can interrupt what was happening, for just a moment.
You might not notice it every time.
Sometimes you’ll unlock your mobile and go straight past it. That’s okay.
The wallpaper isn’t another task to complete or another notification asking for your attention.
It’s simply available.
And sometimes, you may see it at exactly the moment you need it.
Choose what speaks to you today.
The Mobile Edition includes 12 wallpapers exploring different ways of interrupting the moment.
Some bring your attention back to your body. Some invite you to notice the thought you’re following. Some create a little space. And some say almost nothing at all.
Steady.
Choose one because it speaks to you today. Leave it there for as long as it’s useful. When you’re curious about something else, change it.
There’s no program to follow and no right order.

What are you actually practising?
Not using a wallpaper. You’re practising the moment of noticing.
Noticing the thought you’re following.
Noticing tension in your body.
Noticing when you’re becoming reactive.
Noticing that there may be another way to meet the moment.
The wallpaper is simply the interruption. What happens next is yours.
Eventually, you may notice the words before you read them. This is something I’ve experienced myself.
After spending time with a wallpaper, I’ve sometimes found the thought beginning to appear on its own when I notice myself becoming reactive.
Other times, I’ve barely registered the wallpaper as I’ve opened my mobile… but somehow the message still feels familiar, and I can still pause just enough to realise I actually need to pause.
That’s what interests me about these. The aim isn’t to make you dependent on a wallpaper.
It’s to give you another place to practise noticing.
The wallpaper doesn’t do the work. You do.
